The Inventionist: Facebook Frenemies and Wiggly Music

This month in Deutsch invention world, we have some wonderful news.

First we’d like to welcome our very first junior invention strategist, Charlotte Myerberg, joining us from AQKA. Charlotte is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Boulder Digital Works.

Second, the fresh&easy team worked in a frenzy over a 2 day period to make slime free the way to be.

And last, but certainly not least, we teamed up with Brainjuicer to host our first Invention Fest.  I gave some insight into making invention work. And a few other awesome people made some good points on new and more modern ways to work and grow.

While we certainly like invention, so do these other folks.

Forget friends, a U of Texas teacher created a plug-in that lets you declare enemies on Facebook.

Musical jelly: Theramin finally gives Jello molds a purpose.

Well known for their cube grenades, Gaping Void launches content company Social Object Factory whose manifesto claims “We help businesses kick ass.”

Happiness at the push of a button: Order pizza by pressing a button on your fridge.

Famous for a day – The Twitter Fame Game gives one Tweeter a day the chance to make a name for themselves. Is it clever, or is it contributing to the question, “When it comes to social media does quantity trump quality?”

Self-proclaimed Ping-Pong champion? Put your skills to the test with this next level awesomeness.

Thirsty? Quench your thirst for interaction with Coke’s “Happiness Refill” machine, which dispenses WiFi instead of soda.

And just in case you’re feeling the need for something explosive.
