Since the majority of you probably already have Facebook open (it’s OK — we’re all not-so secret Facebook addicts, too), do something good while you’re there: load the PNC Neighborhood Wishlist app and vote for your 3 favorite community projects.

PNC Neighborhood Wishlist is a Facebook initiative that awards up to $500 to 100 selected community improvement projects. So far, it’s been a huge success! We received 500 submissions in two days, almost tripled PNC’s number of Facebook Likes and have received a ton of earned media and buzz.

We extended voting through September 4, so you have 6 days left to help make a difference. To receive funding, each project needs one vote for every dollar they are asking for—if you ask for $500, you need 500 votes. Everyone can find something that tugs on their heartstrings, with projects like providing bikes to children and an after school community mural.
